With Holo’s help, Lawrence is able to realize the trick in Zheren’s proposal concerning silver coin revaluation. In order to make a profit from this plot, Lawrence passes information along to Marlheit—a branch manager for the Milone Trading Company—and the man agrees to cooperate.
Though Lawrence is excited about turning a profit that will bring him closer to owning a shop, Holo looks somewhat lonesome.

[Anime Overview]
TV anime Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf

A young traveling merchant named Kraft Lawrence makes a living by moving between town to town selling his goods, accompanied by his equine, wagon-pulling partner.

One day he comes through a small village with fields of golden wheat, and he meets a beautiful girl with wolf ears and a tail.

“My name’s Holo.”

Holo refers to herself as the “Wise Wolf,” and the physical incarnation of the wolf goddess of harvest.

After hearing that she wishes to return to her hometown—the forest of Yoitsu far in the north—Lawrence and Holo become traveling companions on a northbound business trip.

However, a merchant’s journey is fraught with unexpected ups and downs…
The solitary merchant and lone wolf goddess’ avatar join up and begin their turbulent adventure together in a horse-drawn wagon.
