My Hero Academia is a popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (published by Shueisha). The series is set in a world where people possessing superpowers known as “Quirks” are commonplace. The main character Izuku Midoriya “Deku” and his friends attend U.A. High School, a prestigious school dedicated to training heroes. A classic hero action story that emphasizes “friendship, victory, and hard work”, together the heroes seek to protect society by confronting villainous criminals who would abuse their Quirks.

The 6th season of the TV anime series is being broadcast every Saturday at 5:30 PM (JST) via 29 Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV networks (some regions excluded).
Part 2 of the 6th season is now broadcasting. Airing from March 18 (Sat) at 5:30 PM, the scene previews for season 6, episode 24 (episode 137 of entire series): “A Young Woman’s Declaration” have been released!

Episode 24 (episode 137 of entire series): “A Young Woman’s Declaration”
Deku fought alone in an attempt to keep those around him safe, becoming increasingly frustrated and exhausted in the process. Finally, however, he opens up to his classmates from Class 1-A after hearing their desperate words and feelings. However, once they all make their way back to U.A. High School, a massive crowd of displaced evacuees is waiting for them, angrily declaring: “Deku coming back to U.A. puts us all in danger!” Ochaco then picks up a loudspeaker and appeals to the mob. She explains why Deku left U.A. High School, how he willingly chose to fight alone, and how he now stands with them wounded and exhausted… Will Ochaco and the other Class 1-A students be able to convince the mob?!

[Comments from the Cast!]

A comment from cast member Ayane Sakura, voice of Ochaco Uraraka, has been received.
This week’s episode “A Young Woman’s Declaration” has garnered high expectations from readers of the original work, receiving such remarks as “You’ll definitely cry,” and “I can’t wait to see this animated.”

Ayane Sakura: When I saw the episode title “A Young Woman’s Declaration” on the script, I felt both high expectations for how this scene would be portrayed as well as pressure on myself. A lot of people around me have been saying “I can’t wait to see that scene,” so between the outside pressure and my own expectations, I think the pressure for me was stronger until I came to the studio. But once I met with everyone in Class 1-A (Sakura’s co-stars), I felt their strength and support and performed to the best of my ability—striving to make this a scene that would touch the viewers of My Hero Academia. I hope that Ochaco’s wishes will come across just as powerfully in the anime as they do in the original work.

[Introduction]
Comic sales have surpassed 85 million copies worldwide! TV anime My Hero Academia is based on the popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi and is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The story is set in a world where roughly 80% of the total population possesses some sort of superpower known as a “Quirk”. Izuku Midoriya “Deku” and his classmates at the U.A. High School strive to become heroes who protect society and individuals from accidents, disasters, and villain criminals who would abuse their Quirks. This is the story of their growth, battles and friendships!

[Story]
Deku and the others enter into the spring of their 2nd year at U.A. High School. Endeavor and the other heroes face off against a powerful band of villains led by Tomura Shigaraki in a conflict best described as all-out war. As the host of the Quirk One For All, Deku battles against Shigaraki, who has become terrifyingly powerful through advanced surgery. The terrible fight leaves them both gravely injured, and Shigaraki’s retreat seems to mark the end of the war. However, the devastation left by the conflict combined with Dabi’s confession that he is in fact the son of Endeavor, Toya Todoroki, creates public distrust toward the heroes. Additionally, a great many villains escape from prison with All For One’s help, and they wreak further havoc upon society. As the current host of the Quirk One For All, Deku’s sense of duty compels him to leave U.A. High School in order to not endanger those around him. He leaves a letter for his classmates, and then…

Deku’s one-man war begins!
