The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy is written by Yu Shimizu (author of the popular series Bladedance of Elementalers, with over 2 million copies sold), and original character concepts by Asagi Tosaka (known for illustrating Girly Air Force). Together, they make an unbeatable duo! The series takes place in a fantasy school setting, centered around an ancient Dark Lord who awakens in the form of a 10 year-old child and meets a host of lovely heroines.
This time, the synopsis and scene previews for episode 6 have been released.
It has also been revealed that The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy will be taking part in the Nakanoshima Anime BOX event in Osaka on November 23 (Thursday, holiday).
■Episode 6: “The Dark Lord’s Resolution”
A Stampede devastates the Seventh Assault Garden. This disaster was brought about by Arakael—Archsage turned Void Lord—who was one of the Six Heroes that fought against the Dark Lord Leonis a thousand years prior.
Arakael captures Riselia in order to lure out Leonis, so with his pride as Dark Lord on the line, Leonis goes to retrieve his follower. A fierce battle between Arakael and Leonis then ensues, and Arakael attacks with tremendous force. Before long, Leonis makes a certain important decision.

The pop culture event Nakanoshima Anime BOX will be taking place at the Osaka City Central Public Hall from November 23 (Thursday, holiday) to November 26 (Sunday), and The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy will be joining the event.
A wide variety of content will be shown on stage on November 23 (Thursday, holiday), including a talk show discussing the appeal of The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy TV anime, a theme song mini concert featuring Chiai Fujikawa and Kaho, and more.

■Synopsis
As the most powerful of the Dark Lords, Leonis sealed his body away to one day exact his revenge. However, when he is awakened after 1000 years of slumber, he finds that his body has reverted to that of a 10 year-old boy!
“How could this be?!” He wonders to himself, when a young woman discovers him.
“How’d you get stuck in here, little guy? Don’t worry, I’ll protect you,” the young woman says, trying to comfort the awakened Dark Lord.
This girl, Riselia, is a student at Excalibur Academy, and Leonis is astonished when he finds out how drastically his world has changed. Hearing about such things as the unknown and hostile Voids, the Seventh Assault Garden, and the absurdly powerful Excalibur, Leonis is totally lost in his new surroundings but ultimately enrolls in Excalibur Academy.
In a future world that has lost its connection to magic, the mightiest Dark Lord joins forces with beautiful heroines in this fantasy school story!
